The Fall BBQ Rescheduled

Our fall BBQ has been rescheduled to Saturday, September 7th. This coincides with the EAA flyin at Heber. We will be waxing the gliders in the morning and getting the BBQ going in the afternoon. Come on out and help and enjoy the day together. Members and guests invited.

A fair amount of ongoing work has been done to the gliders this season including a new skid plate on the 2-33, fabric repair on the 2-33, oxygen work in both the Grob and 1-34, radio work in both the Grob and 1-34, and a new 1-34 tail tiedown. Thanks go out to Chris, Bruce, Paul, Jim, Ned and all those involved with this constant effort.

More New Members
We have add two new members to our association. Brandon Wolsey and Keith Fleming. Also one member returning from inactive status is Sean Scialfa. We are happy to see the club growing. Watch for these new people at the airport and welcome them out.

SSA Dues to Increase
Look out for a SSA dues increase this fall when I add this to your statements. The SSA has not had a dues increase for several years. They are doing a lot more with less money. The new rate will be $64 a year. Just a reminder and to our new members, We encourage all club members to join SSA. Our charter requires that a certain percentage of our members be SSA members. We pay your SSA dues then add this amount to your statement. I will be contacting the new members to get them signed up for SSA or if already a member, I will transfer your membership to our schedule.
